Meeting September 25, 2019Brookhaven Rotarians, don't miss our September 25 meeting! We will meet at Terra Terroir on Wednesday, September 25. There is no cost to attend and have lunch, but YOU MUST RSVP in order to attend the meeting. Because our venue needs a count by Monday evening, please just email tony (email link) at this point to get registered for lunch. Our speaker on the 25th will be Ms. Amy Patterson. As Senior Vice President of Operations for the Championship Hosting Division of the Atlanta Sports Council, Ms. Patterson oversaw all operational aspects of the 2018 College Football Championship and the 2019 Super Bowl LIII. Now she is preparing for the 2020 NCAA® Final Four. Don't forget to register for the District Conference!We're heading back to Jekyll Island! The 2019-20 District Conference will be held at Jekyll Island on April 30 - May 3, 2020. This is a great opportunity to spend time with fellow Rotarians, enjoy fellowship with members from other clubs, enjoy the island with your family, and learn more about all the great work Rotary District 6900 is doing! The District website registration page is live (link here), so take care of this today. We're sending a big group this year and will plan to host a hospitality room. You can stay anywhere on Jekyll Island you like, of course, and many members of our Club will be at the Jekyll Island Club (link here). Big Green Egg - Chef D-Mart presents a night of Rotarians!Brookhaven Rotarian Dan Martinez will provide a customized menu, partially hands on, for this Club Social event. Menu: Dishes will include meat / veggies / dessert; beer and wine included.
