Georgia Cares is an independent, non-profit organization working to serve child sex trafficking victims across the State of Georgia and has significant print communication needs. Providing a high-capacity printer will both allow the organization to meet its needs more efficiently and contribute to the organization's long-term sustainability by reducing ongoing expenses for print jobs. Over the expected three-year life of a device of this type, the total savings will amount to approximately $15,000, less the cost of consumables (which amount to a small fraction of the amount charged by a third-party printer).
When we asked our friends at https://www.facebook.com/GACaresEndDMST/ what we could do to help beyond our District Grant, they told us that their clients really benefit from journals, and could we do some holiday cards. So our Club spent some time in each of our two lunch meetings writing out notes, and will forward them along with the journals and brightly-colored ink pens we found for the children.
