Rotary Covenant House Job Fair

The Rotary Club of Brookhaven and Covenant House are offering employers an opportunity to meet candidates at a job fair on October 27th from 8:30am-11:30 am.

As an employer you know one exceptional employee is better than two average employees. An exceptional employee is the one that brings a level of work ethic and motivation above all others. I am talking about the individual who show up early, work extra hours when needed and does not question when asked to do something.

Wondering where you can find an exceptional employee? Or, where can you hire them early enough in their careers? The answer is the Covenant House.

"These kids were so eager to learn and listen and do well, ”says Bob Cunningham, President of Cunningham Heating & Air Conditioning.

It was the best job fair I have ever attended," said the Market Manager of Costco.

The Covenant House not only provides shelter for young adults (age 18 to 20) experiencing homelessness but it provides guidance and support along the way. The Covenant House assists young adults get their lives in order and prepares them to enter the work force and be productive citizens.

About Covenant House

Covenant House was founded in 1972 with the simple, profound mission to help homeless kids escape the streets. Today we are the largest privately funded charity in the Americas providing loving care and vital services to homeless, abandoned, abused, trafficked, and exploited youth.
