The Brookhaven Rotary and the Covenant House are offering you an opportunity to meet your future employee at a job fair set for March 1st from 10am-12pm.
As an employer you know that one exceptional employee is better than two average employees. An exceptional employee is the one that brings a level of work ethic and motivation above all others. I am talking about the individual that shows up early, works those extra hours when need and does not question when asked to do something.
You may ask yourself how can I get these people, and where can I get them earlier enough in there carriers? The answer is the Covenant House. The Covenant House not only provides shelter for homeless young adults (18-20 yrs) it provides guidance. The Covenant House helps these young adults lives back in order, and prepares them to enter the work force, to be productive citizens.
We want you to come and meet these residents as they transition out of homeless. Not every resident at Covenant House is ready for employment, and therefore we will pre-screen the residents for you and present only those we believe are ready to move out of homeless In addition the Covenant House will make sure these residents will have a home and transportation while employee by you or transition out of the Covenant house.
