Linda J. Davidson, Executive Director, Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter

Linda J. Davidson joined the Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter in June, 2017 as the Executive Director. Ms. Davidson was the former Senior Director of Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society, (ACS).

Davidson comes to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter with nearly 30 years’ experience in nonprofit operations. In a career spanning locations in Florida and Georgia, she has a proven track record of effective team leadership and a sound portfolio of donor management. After 16 years of successive growth leading the Florida Division of ACS, Davidson moved to Atlanta in 2013 and led ACS’ South Atlantic Division in revenue garnered from organization events. Linda resides in Atlanta and enjoys traveling and time with her family.

The Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter is the leading volunteer health organization in Alzheimer’s disease care - serving 159 counties in Georgia with offices in Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Dalton, Macon, Savannah and Tifton. Our chapter has been serving Georgia communities since 1982 by providing local support groups, education classes and other local resources. Currently there are 150,000 Georgian's living with Alzheimer's and another 533,000 unpaid caregivers. The Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter can help you in many ways. These programs and services provide information, education, support, and guidance for every stage of the Alzheimer’s journey. Opportunity to support GA Cares

Dear Tony,

Georgia Cares is inviting you to the 2019 Mastering the Art Gala. We are celebrating a decade of service, ensuring all victims of child sex trafficking receive quality care in the state of Georgia! This event is our largest annual fundraiser and will feature live entertainment, a seated dinner, program, and silent auction. We will be celebrating Georgia Cares’ impact across the state and the resilience of the youth we serve. The youths’ voice will be featured through an artwork display – giving them the opportunity to express their journey of healing through art. All funds raised will go to support and expand Georgia Cares’ victim services.

Please see the attached e-invitation. For more details and to register, visit our website at: https://donate.gacares.org/event/mastering-the-art-celebrating-10-years-of-service Also, please feel free to share with the members of the Rotary as well!

Thank you for your time and I hope to see you at the Gala!
