February 6 - Lesley & Andy Peters

Our story began in 2008 when Andy joined Lesley to create a family real estate business. Lesley, a dynamic real estate agent, and Andy, a successful corporate sales leader, embarked on their real estate team's journey at the cusp of the housing crisis and mortgage meltdown. Determination and a strong work ethic saw the Peters through a difficult real estate market and ultimately shaped and grew the team more than 10% every year to gain critical market share. Their vision and perseverance gave rise to tremendous team growth over the next ten years, achieving over $100M in sales volume in 2018. Year-to-date sales in 2018 rank The Peters Company as the #1 producing Keller Williams Realty group in the State of Georgia and the entire Southeast Region (Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee).

Andy:

Andy is co-founder of The Peters Company. Originally serving as a Buyer Specialist and then a Listing Specialist on the team for eight years, Andy now acts as the Director of Sales, where he leads, guides and coaches the amazing agents on the team. Outside of The Peters Company, Andy is Operating Partner for Keller Williams Alpharetta, Roswell and Peachtree Corners. He is also a real estate coach with Keller Williams Realty International’s MAPS Coaching and specializes in team growth, marketing, and listings. He and Lesley are a part of Keller Williams Realty co-founder Gary Keller’s Mastermind Group, which is made up of the top agents around the country.

As an Atlanta native, Andy has lived, worked, or played in virtually every inch of the Metro Atlanta area. Andy graduated from Marist School in Atlanta and went on to graduate from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina with a B.A. in Communication Studies. Out of college, he went to work with Aqua Koolers of Georgia, which eventually merged with Quench USA. Andy served as a sales representative, sales manager, and finally as Vice President of Sales over Georgia and Florida. The more he learned about the real estate business and saw Lesley’s success, the more he realized that this is the industry where he belonged.

Andy is an annual volunteer with 100 for the Homeless, a homeless men’s ministry in downtown Atlanta. He is also a lifelong Atlanta Braves fan, and in his spare time he collects and plays guitars. He and Lesley live in Brookhaven with their two children and two dogs.

Lesley:

Lesley is the glue that holds all things together at The Peters Company. As founder and co-owner, Lesley has literally held every position on the team. Andy jokes that she is the “swiss army knife” of the organization. Her impeccable understanding of real estate sales and operations is a dynamite combination for The Peters Company where she currently serves as Director of Operations. When Lesley’s not wearing her Director of Ops hat at The Peters Company, you will most likely find her teaching and coaching other Keller Williams agents across the country. She is incredibly proud to be a member of Gary Keller’s Top Agent Mastermind Group and a Keller Williams International MAPS coach where she specializes in marketing, team building, and coaching husband and wife teams.

Lesley graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and went on to obtain her Masters degree from Oglethorpe University. To this day, Lesley believes real estate is her lifelong calling. And, Keller Williams has been the perfect match as she shares in its ideals of honesty, integrity and teamwork. In 2006, her first full year, she closed 23 transactions between March and December and was named Rookie of the Year for Keller Williams Realty Peachtree Road in Brookhaven. As her client base grew, Lesley started a team so she could continue to provide the exceptional level of service she had built her reputation on. Lesley lives in Brookhaven with Andy, children John Morgan and Vada, and their two dogs.
